Corrections and suggestions help make the guide clearer. Here is what we can and cannot help with.

Suggestions, corrections and ideas for new guides are welcome. If a page was unclear, tell us which one and what you expected to find; that is the most useful kind of feedback we receive. If you represent one of the Bloomington venues described on the site and a detail has changed, a note helps us keep the page accurate.

We cannot answer personal medical questions or advise on individual equipment choices, because that needs someone who can assess you in person. Please speak to your doctor, nurse, therapist or pharmacist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

AHDnet does not sell anything, so we cannot help with orders, deliveries, repairs or returns. For those, contact the supplier or service that provided the equipment.

How to make your message easy to act on

A few details in your message make it much quicker to check a point and update a guide. You do not need to write at length; a short note with the right information is often the most helpful.

  • The page address or title. Copying the link from your browser saves guesswork, especially where several guides cover similar ground, such as bathroom safety and transfers.
  • The exact wording you are querying. Quote the sentence or term that seemed wrong or confusing, so it can be found and reviewed directly.
  • What you expected instead. If you were looking for a measurement, a step in a process or an explanation of a term, say so. Gaps like these often point to a new guide or a glossary entry worth adding.
  • A source, if you have one. For corrections, a reference to manufacturer instructions or published guidance helps confirm the change.

Before writing, it may be worth checking the glossary for unfamiliar terms, or using search to see whether a topic is already covered elsewhere on the site.

For the Bloomington venue pages, useful updates include changes to accessible entrances, parking, seating, restrooms or path surfaces. Opening times and event details change often, so readers are always encouraged to confirm those with the venue itself.

Please leave out personal health information, such as diagnoses, medications or details about someone you care for. It is not needed to improve a guide, and keeping it out of your message protects your privacy. Feedback is read and considered, but not every message receives an individual reply, and suggested changes are checked before anything on the site is updated.
